On May 19, 2020, the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York entered judgment in favor of HNB’s client against BoomMedia and its co-defendants, awarding statutory damages under the Federal Communications Act in the aggregate amount of $3.34million, and permanently enjoining Defendants from further violations. The court also ordered the Defendants to turn over the domain names, receivers and software applications that were used in the operation of the service to HNB’s clients.
