HNB wins $16.8M judgment and permanent injunction against operator of 15 streaming websites. (Freetvall)

On February 23, 2021, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas entered a final judgment awarding $16.8 million in damages against Nauman Khalid of Pakistan for operating 15 streaming websites providing access to copyrighted content. A permanent injunction was also entered against Khalid and the third-party CDNs, ISPs, and service providers supporting Khalid’s infringement, and the registries and registrars of the 15 domain names were ordered to transfer the domains to HNB’s client.
